Christmas Time Was Here

If you’ve ever read my About Me blurb, you know that I used to keep a journal. I was rather consistent with my journal entries, but there would sometimes be gaps where I got busy with life or lazy with writing. And instead of recapping everything that happened in the next journal entry, I would simply pick up at the present day and write. I’ve decided to adopt a similar philosophy with this blog. And while Christmas was a month ago, it’s within a reasonable time that I might have just gotten around to blogging about it now anyway.
I love Rigo’s enthusiasm – not just in this photo but in life – although this photo is the best. Please note that he is wearing the obligatory Christmas day hat.
Molly was wearing her Christmas hoodie and enjoying her last few months as the baby in the family.
My dad brought his Christmas hat with him all the way from PA! Good form.
My parents had already seen most of the San Francisco sights, but not with holiday decorations. The day after Christmas we did a city lights tour, hitting up the Fairmont Hotel, the Ferry Building, Union Square, City Hall, and The Hyatt.
The Hyatt even had a snow machine inside.
Later in the week, we did a day at the museums and I was happy to be back behind the camera.
There were lots of other fun activities punctuated with good food and quality time spent together. As usual, it all went by too quickly. But something tells me I’ll be seeing my parents out here again pretty soon. Happy 2012 everyone!
